Conscherry is an independent software development company dedicated to creating its own unique and engaging original content, including ambitious video games. We are a team driven by our philosophy: “Linked to your Creativity,” and we believe the heart of a great game is its design.

We are looking for a highly creative and analytical Game Designer to join our development team. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, documenting, and balancing the core systems and mechanics that make our games immersive and fun.

What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities):

  • Conceptualizing Mechanics: Design and document detailed concepts for game systems, features, progression, and player interactions.
  • Balancing and Tuning: Use data and playtest feedback to constantly refine and balance all gameplay parameters (e.g., character stats, economy, difficulty curves) to ensure an optimal and enjoyable experience.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with artists and developers to design levels, create in-game events, and script unique player scenarios.
  • Design Documentation: Maintain clear, concise, and up-to-date design documents that serve as the blueprint for the entire team.

What You’ll Need (Qualifications):

  • Proven experience in game design, with a portfolio showcasing successful implementation of game mechanics or system design.
  • Strong understanding of game theory, player psychology, and current industry design trends.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to use data to justify design decisions.
  • Proficiency with relevant game engines (e.g., Unity/Unreal) and design tools (e.g., flow charts, documentation software).

⚠️ A Note on Compensation:

As an independent creator focused on building our original content portfolio, Conscherry is committed to fairly compensating all of our Game Designers. This means the pay structure for this role is paid and project-based. Compensation will be clearly defined as an hourly rate, project stipend, or fixed contract fee based on the specific assignment and its scope. We believe in transparency, and the exact pay structure will always be clearly discussed and agreed upon with you before you begin working on any given project.

If you are a talented Game Designer eager to channel your creativity into innovative, original gaming systems, we encourage you to apply.
