The Conscherry team has been hard at work squashing bugs, improving styles and wording, and more we are going to cover it in this Launcher update.
In case you missed our last post about updates, we recommend you read it here so you are up to speed.
Also, we apologize for the inconvenience; due to an issue with package naming on devices, the launcher data files were corrupted and may require a launcher reinstall to fix it.
Caution before Continuing
As we are still in the process of finalizing our code-signing certificate, Windows, macOS, and Linux may flag the installer as "unknown" or "potentially harmful." This is a standard warning for new applications, and as fellow developers can understand, code-signing can be expensive.
We have published a detailed guide on how to safely install and run the launcher despite these OS warnings.
What’s New (v1.1.8, v1.1.1 – v1.2.2)
- Notifications: A way to easily hear when a friend goes online or a scan is complete while you were away. Choose what you want to hear.
- Points Integration: With your Conscherry account, you can earn points by using the Launcher or playing games. These points can later be used for cool stuff.
- IGDB Metadata Upgrade: Now with our partnership with IGDB, you have the option to use the upgraded Live API that they provide, or use Local Dumps that are updated every 24 hours. This allows you to have the LATEST information about your games.

Fixes and Quality of Life
- Backend: Logins are performed more quickly; your account and settings will not reset anymore, notifications function on all platforms instead of just Windows, and other fixes and improvements.
- Customization: Improved theme colors and picker, and allowing you to show or hide the collections, social, or newspaper tabs.
- Improved Scanning: Enhanced detection support for Bloons TD Battles 2, Bloons TD 6, Escape the Backrooms, Grand Theft Auto V, Project Zomboid, Plague Inc, Waterpark Simulator (CayPay).
- Tabs: Social and Newspaper were changed the most, but the new flow will make the experience better.
- Wording: Buttons, statuses, and general messages across the app are easier to read and understand.

What is to come?
- Achievements: Eventually, we want to be able to have an achievement system, but this needs a lot of planning.
- Social Features: We would like to connect the Launcher and our future games with something called the Conscherry Hub. More about that in the future.
- Syncing: In the upcoming updates, we want to allow users to sync their collections, games, and settings to their Conscherry account to transfer between devices.
- Website Fixes: We will update the project page in the next week or two after this post is released to show better information about the Launcher and make downloads easier. There is a new gallery and photos already updated.
We want to hear more from you about what could be added to this launcher; we are open to so many ideas! Don't be afraid to share your ideas on Discord or the website. If it gets traction or an employee sees your suggestion, it is always kept in mind.
