INSIGHT
In developmentINSIGHT is a first-person survival roguelike for 1 to 4 players about pressure, loss, and split-second decisions. You spawn somewhere unfamiliar with limited gear and just 7 minutes before a zombie infection explodes out of control.
There is no safe starting point and no guided tutorial run. Every session begins in a random location, including spaces like abandoned motels and wrecked offices, where survival depends on rapid decisions and team coordination.
Escape early, push your luck for better rewards, or get trapped when the infection shifts the rules and forces a high-pressure fight for survival.
- Spawn at a random point in a procedurally generated location.
- Search for weapons, supplies, and tools before infection escalation.
- Reach the safe house before the 7-minute timer expires.
- Choose to evac with partial loot or push deeper for higher risk and reward.
The infection does not just intensify; it changes encounter flow. A powerful Infection Boss appears, blocks safe-house access, and turns each route into a consequence-heavy decision point.
- If your character dies in a round, they stay dead until the next.
- Weapons and carried gear are lost permanently.
- There are no revives, and larger squads increase run difficulty.
- Emergency evac decisions require group agreement.
Over multiple runs, players unlock survivors, weapons, and lore entries. Lasting progression comes from knowledge and judgment as much as unlocks, making each run meaningful even when gear is lost.
