Welcome back to the Conscherry Newspaper! Over the last few weeks, there have been significant changes across our platform and projects; let's go over everything that changed. Click on any of the titles to be taken to their project page, and scroll all the way down to view some pictures of the changes made.

Platform (Website)

These are the overall major changes to the platform, and small changes are not displayed in this list. There have been increased page loading times and improved components like pagination and galleries.

  • Account - We have added settings in the integrations tab to allow users to hide or show specific integrations, as well as adding a few new notification settings. We are actively improving the notification system to work on all platforms, with less spam and only sending users the information they want to see. Users also have a better Data Rights page to export all of their account data as well as submit a request to our team about accessing or deleting account data. Also added, as of making this post, a better avatar picker.
  • Badges & Points - This is a feature we love and hope to improve upon further in the future. Over the last couple of weeks, our users have been collecting points based on their activity using projects or visiting the website. Those points can now be spent in the Points Store on the accounts page! There are also badges, earned based on completed activity in all projects or on the website. As of this post, there are 139 to collect. There is also a leaderboard for those who are competitive. Click here to view the badges page.
  • Helpdesk - There are various new guides on how to navigate our platform or do specific things. Click here to visit the Helpdesk.
  • Integrations - There is a new integration for our project, Discord Labs. When users connect both websites together, they are now awarded badges and points, and get to display their development profile on their Conscherry profile.
  • Legal Documents - There are updated legal documents for the company as well as the Launcher project. We will properly notify all users about these changes ASAP. Click here to visit the Helpdesk.
  • Levels and EXP - Based on account activity, collected badges, and other properties, users can earn experience points and level up their account. This can build trust factor, unlock features, and other things across the platform and projects.
  • MFA Enhancements - Account security is one of our highest priorities, and we have made many improvements across the platform, making passkey logins quicker, making it harder to perform more sensitive actions, integrating Turnstile into the project, and other changes. We are constantly hardening and improving account security, and will notify users of any significant changes.
  • Project Pages - All project pages got a major glow-up, highlighting their features, commands, and helpful information to new or existing users. These pages are updated with new information monthly, so check in often on the website.
  • Social Feed - The feed page shows logged-in users the latest information and updates from our projects and their friends. Pages are easier to navigate, and settings have been improved.

Dashboard

  • Account - Users may now earn badges and points based on activity in this project. Everything is synced with their Conscherry account.
  • Redesign - The entire dashboard now aligns much better with how the main website looks and feels. We are actively working on continuing to improve this and make it easier to control our projects. If there are any suggestions, please leave them in the comments.
  • Server Picker - There is an enhanced server picker now in the sidebar for KindBot and Moneta projects. Users now see all the servers they are in, and it lets them either manage the bot if it's already been invited, or invite the bots to that specific server. If users have not gone through the setup either, then it shows a set up button instead of manage.
  • Set Up Wizard - The original wizard made users set up too much at once, and was complicated. This new wizard allows users to quickly set up a few settings and get started with the bots quickly.

KindBot

  • Account - Users may now earn badges and points based on activity in this project. Everything is synced with their Conscherry account.
  • Challenges - This feature used to just exist on the bot and was never used. Now we reworked the entire system and created a list of 66 different challenges to complete. 24 of them are self-reported, while others are automated. This means when somebody does a command challenge, that is automatically reported. If there is a challenge in the real world, they need to self-report their progress.
  • Dashboard - Almost everything seen or done through the bot can be done or viewed in the dashboard as well. We are hoping to make things easier for all users to access and use. If users wish to post things to the Journal or Wisdom boards on the dashboard, please let us know, and we will implement that in the project.
  • Settings - With the new challenges update, there is a new setting to Join Challenges Automatically. This is enabled by default, but can be easily turned off in the settings.

Labs

There are more upcoming updates for this project, but for the time being, this update fixed a lot of bugs scattered across the platform. We plan on a new API, better pages, and overall enhancements.

  • Account - Users may now earn badges and points based on activity in this project. Everything is synced with their Conscherry account. There is also a new integration, mentioned above in the platform logs.
  • Page Design - All pages are now full-sized, and components got a slight update to better fit the new scale and work better on more devices. Some of these changes also have improved page load times.
  • Tokens - The existing AD and Queue tokens were quite buggy and not ready for release; now they work as intended and display properly on the platform. These will be released in the next few weeks.

Launcher

There was a major update to the Launcher, making more user improvements and adding lots of features. There will be a separate post going in depth about everything.

  • Account - Users may now earn badges and points based on activity in this project. Everything is synced with their Conscherry account.
  • Collections - The page is now much larger, and it is easier to choose the games to add or remove from collections.
  • Discord Presence - Users may now show off their stats through Discord Presence; it can be enabled or disabled in the settings.
  • Library Views - There are 4 revamped library views, the dashboard was replaced with a much nicer and easier-to-use overview strip, and game cards got a new look.
  • Newspaper - There is a new search bar and tag filters to sort through posts, as well as an easier-to-read view.
  • Other Features - There is a right-click menu built into actions across the project, a new top bar and taskbar features for some OS's, and better checks for more popular games.
  • Scanning - There are now 13 game stores and external launchers we initially scan for, and we still allow users to choose any other folders to scan for and check to add their games properly.
  • Settings - There is a whole new look to this page, with new premium themes, more customization options, better scan tools for the library, and account features.
  • Stats - There is an overhaul of this page with a new activity chart, a playing now section, and better stats about user devices and the currently active game.
  • Social - This got an overhaul as well, with a new layout making it easier to manage your social life and find others.

Moneta

This project is still in development and is not yet ready for the public. We hope to release a post in the upcoming weeks about its release and features.

Closure

This post was written by Xavier Garcia and Tanner Cohen in collaboration. We appreciate you taking the time to read this post about our updated platform and projects. There will be a few more releases in the upcoming weeks about other projects. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please don't hesitate to let us know. We value all feedback and build our projects based on our users' input.
